The Paupers' Graveyard launched in Limerick
The launch of Gemma's debut novel, The Paupers’ Graveyard was a resounding success with many local dignitaries in attendance along with writers and artists. Family and friends turned out in their hundreds to join in the celebration.
Jim Watkins was master of ceremony and carried out the job with the greatest of ease.
Evelyn Cosgrave, a local author officially launched The Paupers Graveyard.
David Rice, Gemma's tutor in U.L and founder of the Killaloe Hedge School of Writing made a wonderful speech.
Minister Willie O'Dea TD, was thoughtful enough to take time out of his busy schedule to attended and had some very kind words to say about the author and her book.
Mary Feehan. Director of Mercier Press was there along with Editor Wendy Logue.
It was a night of great celebration with everyone toasting the success of the
The Paupers' Graveyard and looking forward to her next novel.
